Graeme Fraser | Associate

Divorce and family solicitor Graeme Fraser graduated with a law degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1991. He trained and worked initially in a suburban London firm for 2 years after qualification in 1996. Graeme then worked as a Family specialist in a Watford practice until 2001, then moved to a leading regional firm in South Buckinghamshire where he became a senior member of the Family team. He joined Cumberland Ellis in September 2006.

Graeme is a solicitor in the Private Client Group working in the Family Law Department. He is a Resolution accredited specialist in complex financial and property matters (high income households and substantial assets) and cohabitation. He also advises on disputes relating to children. Graeme has been noted in the Legal 500 for his matrimonial finance know-how. Increasingly, his clients have international connections. Since 1999, Graeme has been a member of the Law Society Family Panel.

Graeme has appeared as a guest on the Anna Raeburn show on LBC, and has also appeared for BBC Three Counties Radio on maintenance, cohabitation and children related issues.

With a high level of attention to detail and to client care, Graeme strongly believes in putting forward realistic proposals from the outset of a case, with the scope to negotiate strategically.

Outside of work, Graeme enjoys sports, particularly fitness training. He ran the London Marathon in April 2007 for MacMillan Cancer Support. He is a keen Arsenal supporter.He has traveled widely including Australia, Canada and the USA. He lives in North London.
