Pre-Nup halts multimillion pound divorce case

Having been divorced from three husbands previously Susan Crossley has already obtained settlements worth £18 million. On the eve of a Court hearing due to be heard 13th February she has dropped her application against husband number four, property developer Stuart Crossley.

The parties had signed a Pre-Nuptial Agreement prior to getting married, basically saying that on divorce they would walk away with what they brought into the relationship. The withdrawal of Mrs Crossley’s financial application makes the use of pre-nuptial agreements ever more likely and is a major boost to the status of such agreements.
